A typical P&F chart, as drawn by Pfscan 2. There's automatic trendlines, Vertical and Horizontal count price targets, information on what the indicators are doing, an ATR and last close indicator, Volatility is at 7.1% - and if you can't decide... press 'Analyse' and the program will highlight all the information in a logical manner to make sure you don't miss important factors out of the decision process.

Below we see Disney, using the Gann colour scheme on a candle chart - the Gann scheme uses 4 colours (user selectable) to show 'inside' and 'outside' days as well as up/down. A 'trend' strip across the top denotes whether the share is trending, and which way, whilst a number of markers show where various signals can be seen....including Candlestick patterns.

Signals on bar and candle charts include

Key and Island reversals, Parabolic SAR signals (cross checked with trend to reduce false signals) and signals to denote the price has rebounded from the Bollinger bands.

Short, Medium and Long MAs can be added, as can Bollinger envelopes - the P-SAR system signals are visible here as grey dots tracking the trades

Price target and indicator information is repeated.

The Pfscan idea is to reduce the workload, to present the user with a scanned selection of possible trades - the user clicks on the filters to apply, and the program finds them... fast

For the user who wants to dig deeper to build a trading system a serious backtest module is included that allows the user to simulate trading of signals with a variety of exit conditions, providing extensive spreadsheet and text log output - a 'blow by blow' record of each trade, why trades were rejected, how stops moved... a huge amount of data allowing extensive analysis of past trading conditions
